Rules specific to live (in-play) betting on DraftAsia.

In-play betting allows you to place bets while an event is in progress. Due to the fast-paced nature of live betting, specific rules apply to ensure fair treatment for all customers.

Please read these rules carefully before placing in-play bets.

Bet Acceptance

Bet Acceptance
  • In-play bets are accepted at our discretion. We reserve the right to reject or delay any bet.
  • There may be a short delay between bet submission and acceptance while we verify the current state of play.
  • If a significant event occurs (goal, red card, etc.) during this delay, we reserve the right to reject the bet.
  • A bet is only valid once it has been confirmed with a bet ID.
Odds Changes
  • Odds can change rapidly during live events. The odds at the time of bet acceptance apply.
  • If odds change while your bet is being processed, you may be offered the new odds.
  • You can choose to accept or reject the new odds (where this feature is available).
Bet Limits
  • Maximum stakes for in-play bets may be lower than pre-match limits.
  • Limits may change during an event based on timing and market conditions.
  • Stake limits are displayed on your bet slip.

Disconnection Policy

Technical Issues & Disconnections
  • We are not responsible for bets that fail due to internet disconnection or device failure on your end.
  • If our systems experience technical difficulties, bets may be delayed, rejected, or voided.
  • Always verify that your bets have been placed and confirmed before assuming they are active.
Streaming & Data Delays
  • Live video streams and data may be delayed compared to real-time action.
  • This delay is typically 5-10 seconds but can be longer.
  • Bets are processed based on real-time events, not delayed streams.
Best Practice
  • Ensure you have a stable internet connection when betting in-play.
  • Check your bet history to confirm bets have been placed.

Void Bets

When In-Play Bets Are Voided

In-play bets may be voided in the following circumstances:

  • Bet placed after the outcome was determined: If we determine that you placed a bet after the relevant event occurred (even if our systems had not yet updated)
  • Obvious errors: Bets placed at clearly incorrect odds due to display errors
  • Market suspension: Bets placed while a market should have been suspended
  • Match abandonment: If the match is abandoned before completion
Market Suspension
  • Markets are suspended during significant events (goals, red cards, penalties, etc.).
  • Bets placed while a market is suspended will be rejected or voided.
  • Markets reopen once the event has been settled and odds have been adjusted.
Event Completion
  • For in-play bets to stand, the event must typically be completed in full.
  • Markets that have been conclusively determined may be settled even if the event is not completed.
  • Specific sport and market rules may override these general rules.
