At DraftAsia we aim to settle bets fairly and to handle refunds and corrections in a clear, consistent way. This Refund Policy explains when we may void or cancel bets, when refunds of stakes or funds may apply, and how to request a refund or report an error.
This policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and our betting rules (e.g. Sportsbook Rules, In-Play Rules), which define how markets are settled and when bets are considered valid or void.
1. When Bets Are Voided or Cancelled
We may void or cancel a bet (and refund the stake) in the following situations, where consistent with our betting rules and applicable law:
- Event cancelled or abandoned: The event does not take place, is abandoned before the minimum required play (as set out in our rules), or is declared void by the governing body. In such cases, affected single bets are typically refunded in full. For multiple bets (accumulators/parlays), the void selection is usually treated as a non-runner and the bet is recalculated accordingly; if all selections are void, the full stake is refunded.
- Obvious error: A bet was accepted at odds or terms that were clearly wrong (e.g. due to a pricing or feed error), or the bet was accepted after the outcome was already known. We may void the bet and refund the stake, or settle at corrected odds where our rules allow.
- Technical or system failure: A bet was accepted due to a fault on our systems (e.g. duplicate submission, incorrect odds display). We may void the bet and refund the stake after investigation.
- Participant withdrawal (where applicable): For markets that depend on a specific participant (e.g. «first goalscorer»), our rules may provide that the bet is void if that participant does not take part in the event. Please refer to the specific market rules.
- Official result amendment: If the official result is changed after initial settlement (e.g. by the governing body), we may resettle the market in line with the official result. This can result in winnings being reversed or adjusted; we will notify you where appropriate.
We do not allow cancellation of a bet at the customer’s request once it has been confirmed. Exceptions are only where we are required or permitted to void under our rules or this policy.
2. Refund of Stakes
- Single bets: When a single bet is voided, the full stake is returned to your account.
- Multiple bets (parlays/accumulators): When one or more selections in a multiple bet are void, those selections are removed and the bet is recalculated (e.g. as an accumulator on the remaining selections). If all selections are void, the full stake is refunded. If a free bet or bonus was used and the bet is voided, we will apply our standard rules on whether the free bet or bonus is recredited.
- Refunds are credited to your account balance. We do not pay refunds to a different payment method unless we have agreed otherwise (e.g. after account closure).
3. Deposit Refunds
We may consider refunding a deposit in limited circumstances, for example:
- Duplicate or mistaken deposit: You made the same deposit twice or deposited by mistake. You must contact us promptly with details (amount, date, payment method). We will investigate and, if we confirm the duplicate or error, we may refund the duplicate or mistaken amount. We will not refund amounts that have already been used for betting or withdrawn.
- Unauthorised payment: You believe the payment was not authorised by you. You must report this as soon as possible. We will cooperate with you and, where applicable, with your bank or payment provider. Refunds for unauthorised payments are subject to our verification and to the rules of the payment scheme.
Refunds of deposits, where approved, will normally be made to the same payment method or account used for the original deposit, in line with anti–money laundering and payment provider requirements.
4. Withdrawal Errors
If you believe that a withdrawal was processed incorrectly (e.g. wrong amount or wrong account), you must notify us immediately via our Contact page or support email. We will investigate and, where we agree that an error occurred, we will take steps to correct it (e.g. reverse and re-process, or adjust your balance) in accordance with our procedures and applicable law. We are not responsible for errors caused by incorrect details that you provided for the withdrawal.
5. How to Request a Refund or Report an Error
- Contact us via our Contact page or by email at support@draftasia.com.
- Include your account details (e.g. username or registered email), the amount concerned, the date of the transaction or bet, and a clear description of the reason for your request (e.g. duplicate deposit, void event, incorrect withdrawal).
- We will acknowledge your request and respond within a reasonable time, and in any event within the timeframes required by applicable law (e.g. consumer protection or gaming regulations).
- We may need to ask you for additional information or documentation to verify the request. Failure to provide such information may delay or prevent us from processing the refund.
6. Timeframes
Refunds to your account (e.g. voided bet stakes) are usually processed promptly after we confirm the void or error. Refunds to an external payment method (e.g. duplicate deposit) may take longer, depending on our verification process and the payment provider. We will inform you of any significant delay. For regulatory or legal deadlines in your jurisdiction, we will comply with those deadlines where they apply.
7. Disputes
If you are not satisfied with our response to a refund request, you may have the right to refer the matter to our complaints process or to an independent dispute resolution body, as set out on our Complaints & Disputes page. Your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
